Zaanse Schans (near Amsterdam)
Zaanse Schans is a neighbourhood of Zaandam, near Zaandijk, in the province of Noord Holland about 15 km north of Amsterdam. It has an incredible collection of well-preserved historic windmills and houses - it's like stepping back in time into 17th century Holland!
